What is Cardarine (GW501516)?

Cardarine is a lab compound. Its code name is GW501516. It comes as a tablet.

It was made in the 1990s by GlaxoSmithKline and Ligand Pharmaceuticals. It was later dropped from drug work after long-term animal studies raised concerns.

People often group it with SARMs. It is not one. It acts on PPAR-delta, a receptor found on cells. A receptor is a docking point on a cell.
