What is MT1 (Melanotan I)?

MT1 is a peptide. A peptide is a very small protein. This one is made in a lab.

It is also called Melanotan I, or Afamelanotide. MT1 is a copy of a hormone the body makes, called alpha-MSH.

MT1 acts on melanocortin receptors. A receptor is a docking point on a cell where a hormone attaches.

What you get
