What is Hexarelin?

Hexarelin is a peptide, a very small protein made in a lab. It is a type of peptide called a GHRP, short for growth hormone-releasing peptide.

It works by acting on ghrelin receptors, tiny docking points on cells. Researchers study how this affects growth hormone (GH) release from the pituitary gland, a small gland at the base of the brain.

What researchers study it for

• Growth hormone release. Labs study how it triggers GH release from the pituitary gland.
• Muscle tissue. Studies look at its effect on muscle mass and strength in lab models.
